Starting again

Well, I tried to start my blog and didn't really do anything with it. Now I am going to try to get it going again.

Dave and I have been married for 8 years in September. Dave works at Qwest as a trainer and loves it. It has been a really good job for us. I stay at home and take care of all the household and children's needs.

We have 3 cute little kids. Easton is 6. He is in his last few days of kindergarten. Paisley is 4 1/2. She just finished her first year of preschool. Avery is 14 months.

Easton is a typical boy. He loves Star Wars, cars, riding his bike and scooter, jumping on the trampoline, fishing with his uncle, playing soccer, T-ball, and football, swimming, and any other typical little boy activity. He has done very well in kindergarten and is reading now. He a very good big brother to his little sisters. He loves to help me, especially with the vacuuming and the cooking. He can be a little bit shy and timid in certain situations. He has a soft heart and loves to be recognized for doing something good.

Paisley is a typical little girl. She loves purses, shoes, dress up clothes, Barbies, dolls, jewelry, doing her hair, new clothes, watching any movie with a princess in it, watching Strawberry Shortcake, riding her bike, playing with friends, and swimming. She is extremely outgoing and friendly. She isn't really afraid of anything or anyone, which is scary for me at times. She loves to make new friends and prides herself on making a friend wherever she goes. She loves to take care of her little sister and helps me a lot with her. She just finished her first year of preschool and is looking forward to her next year of preschool. She loves to learn and can't wait to read. She says when she grows up she wants to be a "rock star, a movie star, and a mom." And, that is Paisley in a nutshell!

Avery is such a sweetheart. She is very active and busy. She loves to open and play in every cupboard and drawer in the house. She loves music and dances to it anytime she hears a tune. She loves to eat and thinks she needs to be doing it constantly. She loves to be with Easton and Paisley and is always trying to mimic what they do. She is always making us laugh with her new "tricks" and discoveries. She brings a lot of joy and laughter into our home.

Dave loves sports, especially baseball. He plays softball every summer and usually pitches. Each year he says that it is going to be his last year, but he always plays the next year. He loves to golf, when he gets a chance. He takes great pride in a well manicured yard and a clean garage. He is a very good dad and loves to play with the kids. He takes a lot of pride in being the one to teach them something new and watching them excell.

I love to read and shop. I have a love for reality shows also, which although I hate to admit, is another favorite past time when the kids go to bed. I love to play games and am always happy when I get a chance to do so. I absolutely love and treasure nights out with Dave. As much as I love to be home, I need theses dates to refresh me and get me ready for the next week. I like to eat out so that I don't have to cook and go to movies. I love my children and have so much fun watching them grow.

Dave and I had our house built almost 2 years ago. We are currently in the middle of finishing the basement which has been quite a journey. We love our neighborhood and are very content here.

That is our family.
